About LearnBridge
LearnBridge was founded by Sara Mraish-Demeter, a Jordanian-American social entrepreneur who came to the U.S. with limited English and lived firsthand the gap we're solving: confidence, belonging, and access to opportunity through communication. For 15+ years, Sara built ARCK Boston, reaching more than 9,000 students and training hundreds of educators through creative, human-centered education. LearnBridge began as a class project at the MIT Media Lab, pitched by a team of Harvard and MIT students who saw the same problem Sara had lived and set out to solve it at scale. We started LearnBridge because we saw a second problem emerging alongside AI's rise — tools built to do people's thinking for them, instead of building their ability to think for themselves. LearnBridge combines Sara's lived experience and ARCK's proven model with Harvard training and MIT's ecosystem of scientists, advisors, and investors, built on one belief: every learner deserves communication, critical-thinking, and workforce skills that are truly their own — and the agency to use AI as a tool for their voice, never a replacement for it.
